The 36th AUAP Annual Conference held on November 17th and 18th, 2023, in Bangkok, Thailand with the theme  "Utilizing Institutional Assets to Enhance Global Outreach."  proved to be a remarkable and highly productive event. The conference was officially opened by Air Chief Marshal Chlit Phukphasuk, a Member of Thailand's Privy Council. The ceremony was graced by the presence of AUAP President, Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, also the Founder and Chairman of Daffodil International University, Bangladesh along with Dr. Pornchai Mongkhonvanit, President of Siam University, Thailand, and Mr. Hari Mohan Gupta, AUAP First Vice President & Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University, India.

Hosted by Siam University in collaboration with California Baptist University (CBU), USA, and the Asian Cooperation Dialogue University Network (ACD-UN) in Kuwait, the event saw active participation from around 150 attendees, including University Presidents, Vice-Chancellors, Rectors, and Senior Officials from 51 educational institutions across 19 countries spanning Asia, Europe, and the USA.

The conference, designed to promote collaboration and cooperation among universities in the Asia-Pacific region, featured a rich agenda encompassing keynote speeches, academic sessions, research paper presentations, panel discussions, and a research award ceremony. Notably, the conference marked a significant milestone with the signing of 300+ Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) between universities worldwide.
